Witnessing ‘Once Upon A Time’

𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 ‘𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞’

These incidents, the contagion, the devastating cyclone, the economic depression – all these incidents will be narrated and re-narrated in the years to come. It feels like a setting of a novel or maybe a movie.

A new of way of life, an awakening, a renewed perspective, a new appreciation for being alive…

A paradox of destruction and a genesis that will define the years to come.

The walls at home, echo laughter but deep within each of us a sense of fear rings true – what next? Asks the shadow of yesterday, asks the memory of night last, asks the warriors now…

When I walk under the enormous sky changing hues, I wonder how many spirits float free? How many souls depart us everyday…how many prayers become deeper and how many realizations take a fresh new breath…

As we meander our way through the tunnel of restoration/renewal/revamp – will the song of hope lead us to the light at the end?

Succumb or survive – what shall we let the journey do?

There is a strong urge to make sense of this time…to do what is needed…to make a difference…to write a story that is unique to the times that we are living…

The alleys, the lanes, the highways, the pavements do not appeal to me anymore…I tread often on the invisible paths that lead me to the ones who matter…to the moments that cheered me on…

Something tells me this is maybe not a difficulty but an opportunity to live better…but the cost we will never be able to justify…

Years later children will turn their page to this chapter of destruction and resurgence – 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 ‘𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞’

[If you’ve read it so far, something certainly did resonate with you, tell me what did?]
